In the 2010 Irish direct marketing awards we received 13 awards for a variety of B2B and B2C campaigns and were nominated agency of the year. One of the reason acorn marketing was established was because we felt there was a real need for a truly professional and commercial approach to marketing. We understand the intense requirements of business objectives and we pride ourselves in being able to react to all requirements. Our client list including eircom, 123.ie, Greenstar, BetPack.com and many more is already testament to the fact the more and more business and making the move to a more commercial approach to marketing.
As part of our continued growth we are looking to recruit a Group Account Director to lead our client services team.
You will report to the Managing Director and your responsibilities will include the following
◦Contribute to the overall strategic development and growth of Acorn Marketing
◦Manage and develop existing client relationships within your assigned accounts
◦Develop & drive the execution of client campaigns
◦Manage and develop team of account managers
◦Responsible for revenue and margin of existing clients
◦Assist in the acquisition of new customers
You will know you are the right person if
◦You have 7+ years experience industry experience and are familiar with the production process of all marketing activities
◦You have an in depth knowledge of marketing processes which includes media, data, distribution, online
◦You work well with creative teams and assist in driving the creative process
◦You have strong commercial understanding of direct marketing ROI
◦You have digital marketing experience
◦You are comfortable working in a smaller extremely hands on environment.
◦You are comfortable working in a very fast moving environment that has demanding clients.
Overall we are looking for someone who will be a good fit within our team, who will proactively contribute to the overall growth of our business, has a strong commercial understanding and business development skills and an in-depth knowledge of direct response marketing activities offline and good knowledge of online. We would also look to you to help improve existing processes within our business and bring your experience and learning's to allow us deliver a better service to our customers.
